Hi my name is Marcia and I am from the beautiful island of Barbados. I am married to my wonderful husband, have three kids and five Grandkids. I migrated to the USA 33 years ago. I am honest, reliable, loving, caring , funny and vibrant person who loves babies, kids and people in general. My hobbies are traveling singing,dancing and caring for people’s.
I first started out working as a babysitter with some beautiful kids and parents years ago. After seeing the needs for help in the newborn area I decided to take the class and is now is an experience Babynurse/ Baby Specialist. I love my Job and take it very seriously. It means so much to see the little ones change everyday and to work along the parents.

I hired Marcia in 2024 for my 3rd baby. She is absolutely wonderful! My little one decided to be born 2 weeks early and Marcia cancelled her plans and came right away. She lived with us for 4 months- we kept extending her time until the fall because we loved having her so much.
She was always like “how I can I help you”. I knew more about babies that first time moms of course but every baby is different. This baby had very bad reflux. Marcia kept googling around and did some research in addition to what she knew already. She kept my baby upright for hours. She was so eager to help our family with this health issue but also in many other ways. She wants to know our values as a family and what was important to us. My two biggest things were putting my baby on a schedule and very sudden travel plans. Marcia went with whatever our needs were, travelled with us all the time and helped get my baby on a schedule pretty fast. He is still a good sleeper!

I have known Marcia since 2019 and booked her twice for my babies. The first time she started with us few weeks after birth. We had someone else first who didn’t work out. A friend recommended Marcia. As soon as Marcia came in, I felt like I can breathe again. She has an air around her that is calm and knowledgeable. She asked a ton of questions, held Emily, asked to see the space. Washed her hands right away- so many great signs that she was going to be amazing. We literally asked her if she could come back that night and she did! She loves to establish a routine with baby early on while making sure everyone is on the same page.
What we also really appreciated is that she is highly adaptable. Babies change their behavior, our schedule changed, what I wanted also sometimes changed. She always made us feel heard and taught us how to care for our baby. I would not have been able to do the first months without her!
